  • I liked it!

Tia's old childhood friend, Darnell, is coming to visit. He seems to have changed a lot since Tia last saw him. Tamera likes him and Darnell likes her. Ray doesn't trust Darnell. Lisa hangs out with Darnell's mom, Patricia. Tamera and Tia go to a party with Darnell. It's too mature for the twins and Darnell wants him and Tamera to go to another apartment room. Tamera realizes that he's bad news and tells him off. Roger tells Ray and Lisa where Tia and Tamera are at.

This was a great episode! I did think it was a bit inappropiate for younger children, but it had a good message. This episode gets a 9.5!moreless
  • This episode is about Tia's old Boyfriend Darnell coming back to visit. He starts to take a liking to Tamera instead of Tia. Tia tries to convince Tamera that Darnell isn't what he used to be.moreless

I absolutely loove this episode because it is very hilarious

and informative because you really don't know your friend.

If they have been away for a long time you don't know

what has gotten into your friend. You don't know

what kind of things your friend has been exposed to. So this

tells you that your friend will change if given the

    oppurtunity.

  • TRIVIA (2)

    • When Tia and Darnell are eating breakfast, if you look in the back of Darnell the cereal box brand is facing toward the camera in one shot, but in the next shot its facing the milk.

    • When Lisa and Patrice are in the kitchen you can see the stage lights reflected in Lisa glasses. In one shot it looks like it might be a backdoor in Lisa glasses also.

  • QUOTES (4)

    • Lisa: (after she and Patrice choke on their cigar smoke) Did we ever used to like this stuff?
Patrice: Nope, we just did it cuz it was bad.
Lisa: And we were good at being bad...oh no! Here comes Ray!
Patrice: Girl, you weren't this scared of your daddy.
Lisa: Yeah well my daddy never threw a hissy fit.

    • Ray: Lisa, it's not about your hood! It's how you say "Are you gonna finish that?" when I haven't even put my fork in it. Or the way you pull my ear for luck on Bingo night. I don't care about where you're from, Lisa- it's you I can't stand!
Lisa: Oh, Ray... that's so sweet!

    • Lisa: Little boy, I know you did not just get smart with me, you better recognize!
      Ray: I'm down with that.

    • Ray: It's allright if Roger saves them? What's wrong with me?
Lisa: Wooooooooooo I thought you'd never ask. You eat your alphabet soup alphabetically, you squash bugs with the new TV guide. You make those nmmmm nmmmm noises when you chew.

  • NOTES (3)

    • Jason Weaver played the roll of Darnell in this episode, but in the previous season he guest-starred as Nick Bryant in "Summer Bummer."

    • Jason Weaver (Darnell) starred as TJ's older brother, Marcus, in the show Smart Guy. TJ was played by Tahj Mowry, Tia and Tamera's little brother. Tia and Tamera also had guest appearances on an episode of Smart Guy, where they fought over dating Marcus.

    • Lisa and Patrice become really tight in this episode; every time they get together they just have to go "AAAAAAAAAAH HA HA HA HA HA!"
