    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (2)

      • According to one scene in this episode, Georgie is 13 years older then Brian. Brian said he was 24, making Georgie 37. But in episode 100, two episodes prior, Georgie is celebrating her 40TH birthday.

      • Alex does kiss Peter. This is just like when Georgie kisses Bingo, her old boyfriend. There must be something with the Reed sisters and their old flames.

    • QUOTES (3)

      • Georgie: So, it doesn't bother you that when I'm one hundred and ten years old, you'll only be 97?

      • Georgie: I'm not "middle aged" to anyone, except you since you're so damn young! And I'm not a house wife!
        Brian: Then what are you?
        Georgie: Confused!

      • Brian: If there's one thing mother always taught me, it was always walk the girl to the door.
Georgie: Girl? How about divorced mothers of two?

    • NOTES (6)

      • Dr. Gabriel Sorenson does not appear in this episode.

      • Teddy, Sela Ward, does not appear in this episode.

      • The scene where Georgie reveals the age difference is when she's in Brian's car.

      • Cat should have questioned Reed about the gas leak. In most cases, people die in their sleep, just like Cat would have, because they cant smell the gas at all. It was odd when Reed woke up Cat and knew right away what was happening, and Cat knew nothing. She didn't even cough or feel like she needed air. Cat's reaction was what most people would have done, unless they KNEW by prior experience.

      • Apparently, Alex NEVER told her family she had made plans to elope with Peter.

      • After the hotel clerk catches Reed, and informs her that the credit card she's been suing was reported stolen, she runs away. The clerk just starts yelling for someone to catch her, when she's right in front of him! And when she starts getting away, she stops and yells something at him. I'm sure he could have caught her if he wanted to.

    • ALLUSIONS (1)

      • Title: The Passion of Our Youth

The title of the episode was also the title of the poem Peter, Alex's old flame, wrote in college.
