I think the show would've thrived a bit if they gave it a chance, but I was kind of getting sick of the show's meta-references and try-too-much jokes. It's still sad that they cancelled it when they only had one episode left.

This show was mediocre at best; Fox probably made the right decision. People will forget this show even aired by fall.

I say the show has potential, it's humor is basic but still something to laugh at, and is not stupid and immature like that of Family Guy. Giving it time to improve would be a good move by Fox, so I'll be sure to tune in at June to see how it goes.

shows need time to flower, like the office, it had the exact same situation, the furst season was only 5 episodes longbut now its now it one of the most watched shows on NBC, plus family guy was the underdog at the time it started and look at it now.,....

I'm sure this is what's called "burning off". It's where a network cancels a show and pulls it from the schedule, then airs the remaining unaired episodes during the summer because a poor-performing show is usually better than a rerun.

I thought the show had its moments, and it looked cool, but the ratings it pulled were absolutely toxic. No way Fox would want to order more.

    this^

thats how your suposed to post and saying family guy is immature is pretty stupid considering both are cartoons so what does that make you who has watched both?

It looked good in a few clips while a few others turn you completly away like the giving birth joke the blonde guy made. Its almost the smae for me with the goode family. they have quite a few offensive things on that one.

This show grew on me. I wanted to hate it because I blamed it for the cancelation of King of the Hill. But, I root for the underdog. Some one used Family Guy as an example here. I hate Seth McFarlen, because his show being on too long has made him careless. Yeah, Family Guy season 1 was great, no interchangeable jokes lasting more than 20 seconds. Now he has 3 shows all airing on the same night. This shows carelessness. How does this reflect on Sit Down, Shut Up? Well, a season of Arrested Developement was canceled just to make this show. That means thay're giving it their all, and it can be seen that it really is trying. They went on hiatus to change the show up (I believe), so let's see how it fairs.

Wait, I'm confused. Is this show canceled or not? Because, June is almost over, and there hasn't been any new episodes yet.

(And if it is canceled, I will be glad.)
