I have always enjoyed watching sitcoms and it is nice to see how those shows are made. It certainly makes me appreciate how much work goes into it.

Certainly for some shows you can say how did this ever air, so that's why I find it intreaging on how this selection process works.

These writers have no experience but certainly the writers of Stephen's life had a good feeling for their script and for as far as I'm concerned until now they have what it takes.

Which doesn't mean the other writers lack the funny bone but it takes them a lot more work to get the script right, so they might have some problems when trying to do an entire season.

Despite the fact that my script (1 out of 4 scripts) advanced only past the first round, I was still excited about watching this--seeing all those that beat me out.

As I watched, I couldn't tell what was fake to increase "the drama" on the show. Nonetheless, this was a very fun watch.

The two scripts that went head to head...both were very promising. And while the "Stephen's Life" group were very forceful with their demands, I really thought the producers would have put their foot down. However, it was like this group was given the "golden ticket" and went carte blanche all over the place.

"The Sperm Donor" team you could tell were just glad to be there. And they never put up a fight.

As it got down to the final product--Bravo wouldn't show it--viewers had to go to AOL and watch the program there and then vote online. I really wanted to vote for "The Sperm Donor" because of the lack of conflict/nice guys. However, the final products...after weighing the actual show and comedy, I voted for "Stephen's Life". But both were very good...it was hard.

Bravo probably wouldn't want to do this again, but I enjoyed this reality show. And would totally want to do it...after I create some new pilots.moreless
  • Nice to see how it works behinds the scenes and how the people writing shows must jump through hoops to please the network and appeal to the public.
