Skate

Show Summary

TNBC launched "Skate" in October 2001, an action-driven, half-hour drama that takes viewers on a weekly extreme course of kick-flips and thrills with storylines concerning the life of aspiring proskater Josh Raden and his relationships with a motley crew of friends. Unfortunately like "All About Us", "Skate" didn't set fire to the TV World and the last new episode to air was "Steppin' Up" on January 5, 2002. On September 21, 2002, "Skate" along with "City Guys", "Just Deal" and "All About Us" made their final appearances as TNBC said it's final farewells.

  • Pretty good show.

This was a pretty good show for Saturday mornings on NBC, at the time when skating was blowing up in American teenage pop culture. Never too corny or cheesy, but the show did effectively portary the necessary "educational" and "informational" lessons.

Great cast bringing to life a series from former "Power Rangers" headwriters Doug Sloan and Ann Austen.
