After giving it back, they watch the proper service from the hill. Afterwards they open their exam results. Maxxie invites Anwar to London. Tony and Michelle say goodbye and give Sid a plane ticket to New York so he can search for Cassie.moreless

This season was easily the best one out of all six (probably a biased opinion since it's my favorite season, but whatever!). Every single episode had me wanting more, and every episode had an excellent storyline that became addicting. After the penultimate heartbreaking episode in where Chris dies, everyone finds a way to cope with his death, and the fact that Jal had decided to get an abortion. I thought the episode was really well done, and the entire cast brought their A-Game (well can't say Cassie really did since we barely saw her, that's the only thing I didn't like, she wasn't with the crew at all this episode). Although I hated the open endedness of the finale when it first came out, I realized that it was a perfect way to end the Generation 1 characters! I also liked Effy in Tony's bed staring into the camera with that smirk of hers lol.moreless

Series finale! It's such a sad episode, knwing I wont be able to see them again no more!

Sid and Cassie in New York...i didnt love this, but its good to know they're together (or at least i think so)

Anwar moved in with Maxxie! Those two are meant to be togheter, friends forever! Although in this season we didnt hear much about them!

Tony and Michelle...they are not a teen series cliche, at last they didnt end together but I like they're friends!

Chris!! I cried in his funeral! It was the saddest thing of the show, how could they kill Chris??

Jal..she'll be great musician! Like my first predictions, she did the abortion. I dont quite agree with this, but I agree with Michelle! I will miss them a looooot! Ok, the show is not over, they'll probably put Effy as the focus, but we are all attached to the characters, it wont be the same thing!

I want to watch more episodes!!! It cant end!! hahahah

Moving On Is A Part Of Growing Up

So here we are at the end of the second season of this top-class programme, the gang is recieving their exam results and preparing to part ways. The series has had so many great episodes, and this one continues to be just as fantastic. And there is only one thing I disliked about this finale.

So the cast we have grown to love, are banned from attending the funeral of one of their best friends. So what do they do? Steal his coffin. Classic! The makers of Skins have surely surpassed themselves lately, it was fairly predictable, yet you just laughed out loud as you saw it unfold. And to top it all off, they get involved in a car chase to a Britney Spears classic. Top class entertainment.

Jal and Michelle's scene in the zoo. Nothing extremely special about this moment, yet I just found it so... touching. And enjoyable. For some reason, when these two are together, tey have such presence you enjoy anything transpiring between them. They are a classic duo, and their scenes together are always perfect!

Anwar. Outraged that he failed to have his own episode this season. His story was perfect. The one who had failed to reach his desired results, whilst his friends all prepared to continue in their futures. Anwar has always been such a relatable character, with majority of others bordering on slightly surreal, Anwar has always been the most relatable character.

All in all, the ending was perfect. And like I said I only have one problem with this ending. How will I go on without my weekly dosage of Maxxie?moreless

Series Finale

I really cannot believe it's really over, I found myself really caring for these characters by the end of the series, it was just sad to see them go. Skins has definitely become one of my favorite shows, and any time I look back on it, I will see it in positive light.

A lot of things were left unresolved though, I'm not sure if this was the writers' intention, but I would have liked to see if Sid & Cassie got together or to see what happened to Sketch, or may be see if Tony & Michelle continued their on again/off again romance.

But it still was a good way to close out the season with Chris' funeral, and Jal's final decision on her pregnancy. She was pregnant for a while, was the abortion even legal that late in the pregnancy? Anyways unresolved things aside, a great series finale to just an amazing series. Will be remembered. Sad to see it go.moreless

the gang almost wasn't allowed to bid chris goodbye as his father asked them not to attend his funeral but true to chris' nature, they devised a plan to make a way, and they did. it was one of the sweetest funeral i've ever seen on a series. afterwards, its time to face the real world, grow up and pursue each other's individual dreams. sad that they have to depart and be afar from each other but that's how life really goes. the parties, the fun, the togetherness might not be as constant anymore but the friendship should stay. the fire should be kept burning.

i too went through this situation. leaving my home and moving was tough but for future's sake, you gotta learn how to deal and live with it. as cassie said, you do it your way and the people who loves you will understand because they love you.moreless

- Goof: Sid's leaves for New York on RyanAir, but RyanAir doesn't fly to the United States. Even if it was only to get to a major hub such as Heathrow or Gatwick, any flight from those airports would land at one of the three major New York City airports -- none of which are served by MetroNorth Railroad, which is the only railroad into New York's Grand Central Terminal. Most likely he would landed at either Newark Liberty or John F. Kennedy airport, and would have ended up at New York's Pennsylvania Station, which is far less impressive in appearance, which is no doubt why they chose to film his arrival at Grand Central instead.
  
  However, there are buses on 42 street and Park Avenue, just across the street from the main entrance to Grand Central that bring people to and from the airports (Laguardia and JFK). And in order to travel by subway you must enter Grand Central Station. While Sid did not need to go that far into Grand Central it is very plausible that he was there.

So I thought I'd say something about a hero of Chris's, a man called captain Joe Catinga. In 1960 he climbing into a foil balloon, Captain joe ascended 32 kilometres into the stratosphere and then, armed only with a parachute he jumped out. He fell for 4 minutes and 36 seconds reaching 714 miles per hour before opening his parachute 5 kilometres above the earth. It had never been done before and has never been done since. He did it just because he could, and that's why Chris loved him- because the thing about Chris was, he said yes. He said yes to everything. He loved everyone. He was the bravest boy, man I knew and that was... He slung himself out of a foil balloon every day, because he could, because he was. And thats why... and thats why.. we loved him
