One of the more anticipated match ups in the tournament starts. Ryonan and Shohoku are more known as the two teams other than Shoyo, who have given Kainan the most trouble. Kainan predictably blew Takezato out. Everyone was speculating Shohoku's chances, for their emotional pillar of support is not present. After a brief profile of all the players, the match starts, and Sakuragi commits a hilarious goaltending call.
Literally, almost nothing happened. Most of the episode was the brief backgrounds of the players, and a crapload of speculating. It was rather boring, since you already know most of these players, and all they could have done was just said their names. The brighter part of this episode was Sakuragi's goaltending call.moreless
