      • Doreau: You know, I think you could have shown a little sympathy.
Hammer: I was going to send a card to his next-of-kin.

      • Hammer: Let's get those geeks. We'll set our guns for "stun."
Doreau: Guns don't have a setting for "stun."
Hammer: Well that's their tough luck.

      • Trunk: She's asleep.
Hammer: (drawing his gun) I'll wake her up.
Trunk: Hammer! This is a hospital. For god's sake, it's a hospital.
Hammer: I know. I was going to use a silencer.

      • Officer Daley: We all signed this card for Dori, and we left a space for you.
Hammer: Yeah, well, forget it, lady. I showed her I care in my own special way. I shot at the guy who was trying to park in her spot.

      • Doctor: I'm afraid that blow to Detective Doreau's head has caused a behavioral imbalance. She's become excessively violent, irrational, and dangerous.
Hammer: That happened to me once. The day I was born.

      • Trunk: Hammer! I want you and Doreau to come into the precinct immediately. And I want you to make sure she does not get killed. It's okay if you do.

      • Doreau: Hammer! You can't solve everything with a gun.
Hammer: But my bazooka's in the trunk.
