  • Scoobie gang!

    9.0
The shows coming into a whole new chapter now we have a Scoobie gang! Ichabod discovers fist bumping, and shows his stupidity for not working out who the horseman was. I think Iccy was the only one who had to be told, the rest of us worked it out for ourselves!
  • And this is where my journey ends

I've been asking myself this question since the beginning of the show: Continue watching it or stop?

In the end I have decided. This show is good if you are willing to accept some assumptions or its major premise. With "Arrow" I am somehow able to accept all those impossible things. With "Sleepy Hollow", I'm afraid I can't. I hoped I would feel the thrills that I felt watching "The River" horror show. It didn't happen. Not for a moment was I afraid that something bad might happen to the main characters. So this is my good-bye to the show.moreless
  • Fist Pump!

Another very good episode! I love that all the little "funny" references made in this show are never "milked". They are presented and then they move on. The viewer is left wanting more, and that is precisely why this show is so entertaining. Hats off to the writing staff. Bravo! I also love that the captain's last name is Irving. Nice salute to Washington Irving.
  • Check Your Math Adolf.

So Abraham was going to marry Katrina as part of an arranged marriage, but Katrina didn't love Abraham she was in love with Ichabod (do we ever get to know how Katrina becomes involved in Witchcraft or her Coven). So when the Horseman is being interrogated through Brooks by Ichabod the necklace that Katrina wore falls on the floor and as we find out more from the flashbacks the Horseman is Abraham. So the Horseman wants Katrina's soul and that is his weakness. This show is very well written, more flashbacks, because what we see is so fragmented. Fantastic Episode Again.moreless

    • Abbie: Okay, I want to show you something. Fist bump.
      Ichabod: I beg your pardon?
Abbie: It's an expression of... elation. Teamwork. We got him.
Ichabod: Huh. Fist bump. Makes no sense.

    • Irving: I can hardly believe Jefferson foresaw holding a headless man prisoner.
Ichabod: He foresaw holding the worst type of demons that may walk the earth. A product, no doubt of his years trying to reason with the French.

    • Irving: A dead guy, a mental patient, and a time traveler from the Revolution.
      Abbie: That's our team.

    • Abbie: She dumped her fiancé for you. Wow. You got some game.
Ichabod: I neither wanted nor did I want "game."

    • Ichabod: And the Captain believes these same Hessians are responsible for stealing this artifact?
Abbie: We just don't know how many of these guys there are. He arrested six at the DWP...
      Ichabod: Ah, dah, acronyms!
Abbie: Department of Water and Power.
