  • One of my favorite episodes that deals with racism and anti-immigration policies.

    9.0
A great exploration of the anti-immigrant laws in CA (like prop. 209 which passed a few years before this episode). Thought they did a good job working in references to the Civil Rights Movements, White Pride, SS Troopers, Nazis and internment camps. I enjoyed Haorld andRembrandt's discussions on standing up to racism.

The danger of dehumanizing and racism were well adressed. Nice shoutout to the ACLU too for all their good work.

I'm only subtracting one star for product placement, but maybe I'll just pretend that they're saying that Nazis like reading USA Today.

My other quibble is why Remmie didn't try to institute a mass break, esp after they knew what they were doing to them.

The thing that makes me the saddest is that this episode is still as relevant today as it was when I first watched it. Republicans are still pushing through anti-immgration reforms based on racism and dehumanization in AL, GA, AZ and other states. Have we learned nothing?
