The Sliders land on a parallel earth, where San Francisco is a federally secure park for a group of endangered animals; dinosaurs. This is another great, early Sliders episode that raises some interesting ethical questions about animal rights. The dinosaur CGI-animtion may not look quite as cool today, as it did when the episode first aired, but the episode is a fun one to watch.

    • Wade: He went out to protect me, I feel so responsible...
Rembrandt: Hey, it was him or us; I mean, he did hold a gun to our heads, remember?
      Arturo
: Yes, well he was true to his creed - He protected his species, even though he despised us individually.

    • Wade: A few weeks ago, we were on that world without clothes, remember?
Arturo: How could I forget? Not exactly my finest hour, was it? Then, none of us exactly covered ourselves with glory, did we, hehe? Or with anything else, for that matter. Yes, we have certainly seen the best and the worst of each other.

    • Arturo: Oh, Miss Wells, I must admit to a certain measure of pessimism and despair.
Wade: I thought you said everything was gonna be all right...
Arturo: Well, I could be far more stoical, if I didn't have this damn truth-collar around my neck. It's ironic, isn't it? In the time of our greatest danger, we're deprived of the comforts of platitude and self-deception.

    • Quinn: (Upon landing in wilderness) Okay, professor... I know it's an egg, but what kind?
Arturo: I think I have a more interesting question: Where is San-Francisco?

    • Angelica: (to Rembrandt) It's sweet of you to try to lie to me, but if you keep it up, that collar is going to electrocute you.

    • Wade: Did you happen to see anyone else while you were out there?
Poacher: Yeah, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and two Shriner's Conventions. Who else would be stupid enough to wander into these killing fields?

    • Arturo: Yes, of course. Of course if dinosaurs had survived into the 20th Century, they would have to be on a protected species list.

    • Davies: You have anything to say to the American people before you go?
      Quinn: (Rolls eyes) No comment.
