  • A very welcome Sliders that gives Remy an actual acting role instead of the hum-drum way Peckinpaw and crew constantly shows him.

    9.1
The former Tony winner Clevant Derricks, did a rather convincing job at evoking real emotions in this episode of Sliders.

Remy shows retribution about the way he treated his former love interest, Danielle whom he *ran* into in this episode, and perhaps in a way received absolution by carrying her child to birth.

I was laughing audibly when Remy exclaimed, "Man, I'm not even married!", as he found out he was with child at the hospital.

I was moved when Remy sang a song to his unborn son in the garden. Awesome. He sold being pregnant and for a moment, I forgot he was a man and felt as if he was just a loving parent wishing the very best for his child.

In contrast to Remy's role, I thought the Lady Mary was the perfect, heartless, emotionless, power hungry extremist who wanted to rule at any cost. Her character seemed to contrast Remy's and in the divide some good acting and great drama visited us on the telly.

Kudos to the cast and crew for this one and for allowing us to see some the Remy's personal life and honor.
