I don't know if it's me, but I thought no one acted right. It seems like all of them smoked a blunt before arriving on the set. Eva, I'm sorry you are a horrible actor. You should just stick to modeling. The episode was going somewhat decent until the middle. How did Kara burst out of jail and saved Clark? Since when can you destroyed Kryptonite with Heat Vision? I think the writers are running out of ideas and putting crap together and calling it an episode. They need to just retire and make room for news writers. I'm giving you my time to watch a show you created, you should at least write episodes that the majority of the fans like.moreless

Meteor freaks everywhere, and none of which had interesting powers. I mean, come on, ice and snow abilities were explored back in season ONE!!! This episode actually felt like it could have been done in season one...and I might have even loved it. Now, I'm to the point where I want to put my foot through the screen whenever they haul out the krypto-mutants. They're just plain annoying.

There were abundant plot holes. Kara breaks out of jail and nothing happens afterwards? Not even a reasonable excuse for what happened, or why she wasn't punished? How is it possible that Kara was able to blast a piece of kryptonite with her eyes without going blind like Clark did in season 3's "Whisper"? There were others, but they are too many to list.

Overall, I was very disappointed by this episode. Will I ever watch it again? Most likely, when I get the box set in September. However, this is one that will stay on the shelf the rest of the time.moreless

  • Ahhhh, the first filler/freak(s) of the week of Season Seven!

Man, this episode was... very bland. Not a whole lot happened, other than Kara wanting to fit in and be a normal girl, which apparently means join a beauty pageant... you know, like all the normal girls.

The villains of the week were stupid, unmemorable and.. just blah. Didn't care for them at all or the performances involved. It ended without any real suspense and.. boy was I glad for it.

We also get our first glimpse at the Chloe/Jimmy/Kara love triangle that plays out throughout the course of the year, which I wasn't a fan of during the initial run and I probably won't feel any different going back.

Not to mention, Lana and Clark are finally (!) going to have a chance at a normal relationship. After seven years, it's about time. Oh wait, this has happened before. And nobody cares anymore about the two of them.

The Lex and Kara scene outside the Talon was the best scene in the episode. As it sets the stage with the Kara/Lex relationship that plays a very big part throughout the season. Lex was great in the scene as always.

Luckily for us, a better episode is up next. This one, you can skip it.moreless

  • The weather girls.

This episode was a step up from the first two episode, Lana returns & meets Kara as well. I love how Clark says his life has got more complicated & Lana thought they were going out, Kara & Clark. I like the weather girls, they were such a B***! But anyways Lana is so awesome, I missed her. Lex confronts Kara about the savior at the dam. That was pretty cool, Lex is picking up the pieces. Jimmy is saved by Kara, and now we know that Kara likes Jimmy which could cause some tension, this episode really opens doors for the season. Amazing!moreless

  • Lana returns to Clark. Clark is the protective "big brother" to Kara.

I liked that Clark gets to see things from a different point of view. First, after believing he lost Lana forever, he has another chance to do it right by opening up to her and being honest (finally). Second, being the protective 'big brother' to Kara, he sees how difficult it was for his parents to handle a teenager learning to make decisions on his/her own. Parts of it were funny. I liked the way they returned Lana. Their relationship may not be perfect, but I think she's an important part of Superman's character development and emotional maturity. I didn't find the 3 bad girls (pageant contestants) all that interesting.moreless

    • When the blond girl (the first one) is frozen, it's an instant freezing so she couldn't possibly have a scared look when Kara finds her. She wouldn't have enough time to look scared. Edit

    • Kara: Clark, you're not human. No matter how much you want to be. I mean we can harvest corn and pump mochas all we want but it's not gonna make us one of them.
