In the comics and in most televisual representations Jor-El approved of Martha and Jonathan, saying that he couldn't have wished Clark had landed with anyone better, so I think its all part of Clarkes destiny and any slowing down of his development was also part of his destiny and we shouldn't grumble about it. |
In CKs cases, the end DEFINATELY justifies the means; The final product (Superman) is so good that it is worth everthing that happened to him when he was younger, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Totally agree, Clarks human influence is what made him Superman, without that he would have been something completely different.
