    The music and dancing on "Smash" are wonderful. I am learning a lot about how a play is produced, and Anjelica Huston is my favorite character, with the most interesting part in the show.


    But....


    Can we get rid of the other plots? I've seen a billion storylines about adultery, drug addiction and juvenile delinquency on TV already. We don't need another soap opera.

    Well, they certainly need to spice things up because the story lines were really thin and uninteresting last season.

    What's the point of the plot of the second play? Is it to give Karen something to do since she chose to quit "Bombshell"?


    Although I enjoy the music of this program immensely, I have a hard time keeping all of the characters straight.
