In the midst of dealing with Kyle's sudden death, which sees Julia, Tom and Jimmy flash back to the times they spent with him, Eileen confronts Jerry when he asks to help her with Bombshell, Karen and Jimmy reconcile after he catches her with Derek; Julia makes a decision about The Great Gatsby; Derek confronts Ivy about their future together; progress is made on Hit List's Broadway transfer; Bombshell dims their lights for Kyle.

    I love to see so much about Kyle, I love his character, but Im still think that Jimmy story is so boring and Karen, that I like moreless last season, is lost in that story too, she doesnt shine anymore. I miss the old Bombshell songs, Im sorry, but I find the Hist List soft-pop songs not very interesting...

    • According to Andy Mientus (Kyle), his character's story was designed to mirror the real life death of Jonathan Larson, who died of an aneurysm the night before the first preview of Rent.  Rent was performed the day after his death, and moved onto Broadway where it won The Pulitzer for Drama and the Tony for Best Musical.  One of the actors who performed in that first preview was Jesse L. Martin (Scott) as Tom Collins.
