The new TV Guide talks about the show's cancellation with Liotta saying he thought it was a disservice for the network not to give the show extra time to breathe and build. However, he also says the producers share some blame as even the cast didn't know where the complicated story was heading and that wasn't a good thing to make the network feel easy. He thought it would have been better to have the tension between Bobby and Hope be more promiment in the early episodes.

Have to admit, he raises a good point on the story being too complicated and the network should have given it more time. Still, when ratings are poor and the budget is roughly $3 million an episode, networks do panic.

It should of aired after CSI at 10 Thursdays, instead of horrible Shark. This awesome show would still be alive with better ratings.

I think the show should have been an HBO production! I'm sorry it's gone - I loved it. I've been a Ray Liotta fan for years!

amen to that, shark does suck. maybe HBO can buy it!? it is the best new series that i've seen this year, and was the only show that came close to prison break. keyword, close.

Too expensive for HBO...they couldn't afford $3 million per episode.

They wouldn't need it amp up the sex and violence like the Sopranos and The Wire and people would watch but with so much similar programming I don't think hbo would be the answer.
