Locations to audition are popping up all over the Great White North for talented young people to show their stuff in So You Think You Can Dance Canada. From hip-hop to ballroom, salsa to krumping, watch the best and the worst audition to be Canada's Favorite Dancer. Season 1, which aired its performance shows on Wednesdays (8 p.m., 2 hours), and results shows on Thursdays (30 minutes), saw Nico Archambault crowned "Canada's Favourite Dancer." In October, 2009, Season 1 of So You Think You Can Dance Canada won a Gemini Award for "Best Music, Variety Program or Series". It also received two other nominations: "Best Direction in a Variety Program or Series" -- Sandra Faire, Toronto Auditions; and "Best Performance or Host in a Variety Program or Series" -- Leah Miller, Season 1 Finale. Season 2 aired its performance shows on Tuesdays (8 p.m., 2 hours), and results shows on Wednesdays (30 minutes, 7:30 p.m.) The performance shows are taped before a live studio audience on Sundays; the results shows are taped before a live audience on Wednesdays. Tara-Jean Popowich was crowned "Canada's Favourite Dancer" for season 2. Season 3 had a Top 22, and aired its performance shows on Mondays (9 p.m., 2 hours) with the results shows on Tuesdays (30 minutes, 8:30 p.m.) for the first four weeks. As of the Top 14 show, the performances were shown on Wednesdays (8 p.m., 1 hour), and the results were shown on Thursdays (30 minutes, 8:30 p.m.) The finale was shown on Sunday, October 24, 2010, and Denys Drozdyuk was crowned "Canada's Favourite Dancer" for the third year of the show.
