Leah welcomed the audience to the show, and introduced the Top 8 dancers, then introduced the judges, Jean-Marc Genereux,Tré Armstrong, Blake McGrath, and Mary Murphy (Special Guest Judge). She reminded the audience of the prizes that the winner and runner-up would win, and that the voting would be for individual dancers
1. Jordan and Adam danced hip-hop, choreographed by Luther Brown, to "Say It With Me" by Chris Brown.
Mary said Jordan did an outstanding job for her first time at hip-hop and she is fantastic, and Adam's dancing is coming along fine, and he's improving every week;
Blake said they smashed it, it was unreal, it was clean and smooth, Jordan murdered it, and Adam did so well, he is growing every week;
Tré said Jordan is phenomenal, and Adam is perfection;
Jean-Marc said Adam is a beast, he dances like a man and people respect him, and he loved Jordan's moves and grooves, and they may be the last two dancers standing in a few weeks.
Melissa danced her solo to "Crime For A Crime" by Ani diFranco.
Matt danced his solo to "Hold On" (feat. Amber Coffman) (Sub Focus Remix) by Rusko.
Leah informed the audience that the results show tomorrow would feature a jazz group number choreographed by Sean Cheesman.
2. Lindsay and Shane danced contemporary, choreographed by Stacey Tookey, to "Uninvited" by Alanis Morissette.
Mary said she didn't like it, she loved it, it was a personal best for both of them;
Blake said he could see them both going all the way;
Tré said Shane showed that he has the attitude and demeanor of a champion, and everything Lindsay does is beautiful, and she needs to believe in herself that she can win;
Jean-Marc said the both of them deserve to be in the finale, and Canada should vote for them.
Christian danced his solo to "Miami 2 Ibiza" by Swedish House Mafia.
Denitsa danced her solo to "Airmail Special" Club Des Belugas Remix by Ella Fitzgerald and Club Des Belugas.
3. Denitsa and Christian danced samba, choreographed by Gustavo Vargas, to "Tambourine" by Eve.
(Leah revealed that Denitsa and Christian are dance partners in real life, and this is the first time they have danced together on the SYTYCD stage)
Mary said it was such a treat to see the two of them together, their chemistry was so believable, and they were hot together;
Blake said we were blessed to see what makes them a winning couple, Denitsa was hot, and Christian was an amazing partner;
Tré said Denitsa was in control, and she hoped Canada understood how hard it was to go from ballroom to something more urban, and Christian was smooth, and he was still on Mary's train;
Jean-Marc said they smashed it, Christian has a lot of mojo, and Denitsa was burning hot, they were fabulous together, and they were his V.I.D.
Lindsay danced her solo to "Half Life" by Imogen Heap.
Shane danced his solo to "Hit The Lights" (feat. Lil Wayne) by Jay Sean.
4. Melissa and Matt danced jazz, choreographed by Melissa Williams, to "Nobody's Perfect" by Jessie J.
The judges gave them a standing ovation.
Mary said Matt was full of fire and energy, and Melissa dances with so much soul;
Blake said they were an amazing power-house couple, Melissa did a great job, and Matt did a good job as well;
Tré said they were two of the strongest dancers on the show;
Jean-Marc said it was so well danced, Matt was amazing, and Melissa is a beast and burns the stage.
Jordan danced her solo to "What Turns You On" (Live) by Katie Thompson. The judges gave her a standing ovation.
Adam danced his solo to "Fire" by Raghav.
The Top 8 danced a jive group number, choreographed by Danny Arbour, to "Land of 1,000 Dances" by Union of Sound.A recap of all the performances was shown with the numbers to call to vote. She reminded everyone to vote, and to tune in tomorrow for the results show.
