Dancersselected fromauditions in New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, Atlanta and Salt Lake City perform for the judges with the hope of making the Top 20 dancers.
The top 10 dancers are no longer partnered together. Instead they are paired with All-Star dancers from Seasons-past for exciting routines including Hip-Hop, Jazz, Contemporary and Bollywood. All-Stars include Twitch Boss, Pasha Kovalev, Chelsie Hightower and Kathryn McCormick. Neil Patrick Harris will join Mary Murphy and Nigel Lythgoe on the judge's panel. The top 10 will also perform a solo in the hopes of earning America's votes.

After the bottom three couples are revealed, the judges deliberate their fate while special dancer performers, Jason Samuels Smith & Anyboy Can Do It, and special musical performer, Nicole Scherzinger, entertain the studio audience
