    The top 8 dancers are paired together and with an All-Star dancer from Seasons-past for two routines each, including Jazz, Contemporary, Hip-Hop and Quick Step. Returning All-Stars include Lauren Gottlieb, Lauren Froderman, and Ade Obayomi. Mary Murphy and Nigel Lygthoe arejoined on the judges' panel by directer Rob Marshall and Pop Star Lady Gaga.

    Episode 17

    For the first time this season the dancers have received votes as individuals instead of as couples. In this episode, the bottom two girls and the bottom two boys will be revealed. After performing one last solo, the judges will select one guy and one girl to eliminate. Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy will be sharing judging duties with Neil Patrick Harris.

    The top 10 dancers are no longer partnered together. Instead they are paired with All-Star dancers from Seasons-past for exciting routines including Hip-Hop, Jazz, Contemporary and Bollywood. All-Stars include Twitch Boss, Pasha Kovalev, Chelsie Hightower and Kathryn McCormick. Neil Patrick Harris will join Mary Murphy and Nigel Lythgoe on the judge's panel. The top 10 will also perform a solo in the hopes of earning America's votes.

    Episode 15

    Two more dancers are eliminated, revealing the Top 10. Judges, Mary Murphy and Nigel Lythgoe, are joined by special guest judge, Jess Tyler Ferguson, and guest judge, Sonya Tayeh. After the bottom three couples are revealed, the judges deliberate their fate while special dancer performers, Jason Samuels Smith & Anyboy Can Do It, and special musical performer, Nicole Scherzinger, entertain the studio audience

    The Top 6 Couples (top 14 dancers)will dance for the last time as assigned couples in this episode. Each couple will perform two routines,styles will include Hip-Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Cha Cha, and Tango. Helping judges Mary Murphy and Nigel Lythgoe critique the performances will be Jesse Tyler Ferguson from the TV show Modern Family and choreographer Sonya Tayeh. Choreographers for the evening include Tony Meredith, Melanie LaPatin, Louis Van Amstel, Christopher Scott and Tyce DiOrio.moreless

    Based on America's votes, three couples will find themselves in the bottom three. Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy and new judge Travis Wall will decide the fate of the bottom six dancers, eliminating one boy and one girl.   • Las Vegas Callbacks
    AFter auditions in 5 cities around the country, 160 dancers have been invited to Callbacks in Las Vegas. Dancers will be cut of the course of a week while completing 5 rounds of choreography, Hip-Hop, Broadway, Ballroom, Group round and Contemporary. From the remaining dancers, the Top 20 will be selected.moreless
  • Los Angeles Auditions
    The fifth and final stop on the SYTYCD audition tour is Los Angeles. Dancers come from all over in order to have a chance to dance for the judges and in the hope of earning a ticket to Vegas and becoming America's Favorite Dancer.
  • New York and Salt Lake City Auditions
    Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy and Robin Antin served as judges for the 3rd stop on the SYTYCD audition tour, Salt Lake City. Nigel and Mary are then joined by Jason Gilkison on their 4th stop in New York City. This year the NYC auditions were held in Brooklyn. Dancers from all around the country descended on Salt Lake City and New York City in hopes of impressing the judges with their dance talent and ear a ticket to Vegas for call back and a chance to be America's Favorite Dancer.moreless
  • Auditions 1 & 2: Atlanta and San Francisco
    Dancers in Atlanta, Georgia perform for Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy and Lil' C and dancers in San Francisco, California perform for Nigel Lythgoe, Toni Redpath and Tyce DiOrio in hopes of earning a ticket to Las Vegas for callbacks and a chance at the Top 20.
