  • Top Twelve Dancers Strut Their Stuff

Slightly erratic performances from dancers, but still some amazing highlights in this episode.

No Mia Michaels choreography this week as she is on the judging panel - that is always unfortunate. Tyce Deorio provided two fine dances - Silence from the Unfaithful soundtrack for Jessica & Will and I'm A Woman from Smokey Joe's Cafe for Chelsie H. & Mark. Also notable were a surprising Bollywood style dance by Nakul Dev Mahajan for Katee & Joshua. Twitch was off his game this week in the Slow Tango, which may prove troublesome during elimination. Comfort is clearly in over her head, but performed nicely in a Mandy Moore contemporary piece - the judges weren't kind, but I thought she was beautiful. Unfortunately, with the standard set by the other dancers, she may be gone in this elimination. I adore the pairing of Courtney & Gev and hope their being split up after this week doesn't harm them.moreless

  • QUOTES (2)

    • Nigel: (referring to Twitch and Kherington performing a Krump routine together) On paper, let's be honest about this, on paper, this was the equivalent of a duet between Busta Rhymes or 50 cent and Miley Cyrus.

    • Chelsie: And that's a W-A-R-P.
      Mark: Try W-R-A-P, that's a warp!

  • NOTES (1)

    • The contemporary dance choreographed by Tyce Diorio and performed by Jessica King and William Wingfield to the piece Adam and Eve/Silence from Unfaithful won an Emmy award in the category Outstanding Choreography 2009.

    • Nigel: (referring to Alex da Silva) I think he looked like a Brazilian Bono.

This is a passing reference to Bono, the lead singer of the Irish rock band, U2. Bono is known for wearing distinctive eyewear. Nigel made the comment after viewing a clip in which Alex da Silva is shown wearing large, distinctive sunglasses.
