I'm sorry, when Musa got voted off I was not a happy person. Okay I'm being biased being he was one of my favorite dancers. I totally acknowledge he was not the best dancer, but he showed promise, and he really put his all into his routines. Even when he was not totally sure. While his partner carried him, Dmitry (until recently) carried his partners as well. I can say this, I admire these dancers so much more now, and have a different appreciation of dance. I know I would not be able to learn a new routine in one week the way these dancers do!!! New routine, new dance style, that is simply amazing!!!!
The judges made such a big deal about the solos, and Musa's solo was simply fantastic, while Dmitry came out with shirt open, and just did some dramatic moves. It was a weak solo effort, not to mention I felt his dance performance with Ahsley was also not good, and I felt he should have gone home, but hey what do I know. I do know he has been in the bottom three a couple of times, his time to go home is coming.
I am excited to see how the next episode will go. Now the dancers will be voted on individually, and they will dance with new partners. My concern is Donyelle, I hope she can get over her foot injury to fully compete. I think she is one of the stronger dancers who can win it all.moreless

The remaining 12 dancers performed an opening number choreographed by Doriona Sanchez and set to "Born to be Alive." Next, we saw backstage and recap footage from last week and then Nigel revealed a change in rules.
Partners will now be randomly chosen (in the same style as last season) instead of partners staying together until one is voted off. Dancers will now do 3 dances - 2 with their partner and 1 solo. America will now vote for soloists instead of partners. Judges will be taken out of the equation, with elimination relying only on America's votes.
Next, Cat revealed which couples were put up for elimination.
The first group of couples was: Benji and Donyelle who were safe, and Dmitry and Ashlee who were not safe.
The second group brought forward was: Travis and Martha who were not safe, and Ryan and Heidi who were safe.
The third group brought forward was: Ivan and Allison who were safe, and Musa and Natalie who were not safe.
Each dancer in the eliminated couples performed a solo of their choice for the judges.
While the judges took a break to decide which contestants should go home, the Pussycat Dolls performed.
When the judges returned, they announced who they decided to send home.moreless
