This has to be the saddest elimination for me. I really made a connection to Matt and Kourtni. To be honest, I really think that Nigel did not like Matt coming into this competition after all of his harsh, rude comments (don't get me wrong, I really think Nigel's an amazing judge), but he's such a great dancer: his long endless limbs, his beautiful technique, and his handsome face and body. Kourtni and Matt's first dance (despite the bad comments) really caught my attention; sure their movement was limited and their energy/performance level wasn't that high, but boy was that dance one of my favorites of that night. I can admit that this week was their worst and, overall, they were the weakest couple of the night (let me emphasize the ONE night) and it wasn't too much of a surprise to let them go, but it's hard to see such great dancers go when you know they are so much better than some of the other dancers that were saved. For example, Kourtni is definitely so much better than Comfort and Jessica, and Matt is much better than Thayne and Gev, and I do mean overall for both of them. I must say that this results show was the most devastating for me, I for sure wanted them both to make the top 10, and no doubt that they deserved that spot. If either of you ever read this, I hope to see more of you in the future going big doing what you love!moreless
