At the beginning of the episode, the audience votes from last week are revealed with Kamilah and Blake cut from the competition. The camera shows shocked faces from Nick and Mia as the announcement is made for Blake to leave the show.
At that point, the competition continues in the same format as last week, only they don't show the actual "picking" process, and the dancers pair up differently each time allowing them all to dance together once.
This week, Brian, Mia, Nigel, Mary and Dan are all judging, however if a judge choreographed the performance, he/she sits out of judging that round. Also, this week each dancer will dance as an individual as part of the performance.
The first pair of dancers is Melody and Nick. They dance the Paso Doble to "Espana Cani." Mary choreographed it, so she does not have an opportunity to judge. However, she does join the rest of the judges in a standing ovation. The reviews were good all around.
Next, Ashle and Jamile dance the Salsa to "Oh Mayi." This was choreographed by Alex DaSilva, giving all the judges the opportunity to comment. The reviews are not overwhelming and Ashle admits that they messed up midway and were forced to freestyle the rest of the dance.
Melody dances solo next. She dances to "Listen to Your Heart." The judges don't make comments after solo performances.
Next, Nick and Jamile dance in hip hop style to "Young'n." The judges give mixed reviews.
The show continues with Ashle dancing solo to "Endangered Species" and Jamile dancing solo to "Early in the Morning."
Ashle and Melody dance next to "Message in a Bottle." Since Mia choreographed, she cannot judge. However, the reviews from the judges are overwhelmingly positive.
Nick follows dancing to "Pardon Me" and then Melody and Jamile with a jazz number to "Cold Hearted." The judges are very impressed.
Ashle and Nick are up with a hip hop routine to "Feel the Girl." This is not choreographed by one of the judges, so all of them have a chance to comment. They are all positive.
This week, the show ends with all 4 dancers dancing as individuals to a song they've never heard before in a randomly drawn order. The song is "Music."
