After the Freedom Fighters take out a fuel transport of Robotnik's, he begins to suspect that there is a spy within his organization. Uncle Chuck informs the Freedom Fighters of some terrible news: Robotnik is on the verge of obtaining the two very powerful Deep Power Stones, which can unleash ultimate destruction if combined together in a special way. Sonic and Sally discover that they failed to go back to their desired date and Dr. Robotnik has already began his invasion. As Mobotropolis slowly gets turned into Robotropolis, Sonic and Sally must escape in hopes of getting back to the future, though they also must prevent the Great Forest from being destroyed and their past selves from being roboticized. If they fail to do both, they will cease to exist. After losing two Freedom Fighters during a recent mission, Sonic and Sally talk about how they wished they could have just stopped Robotnik before his invasion happened. Snively tricks Sonic into thinking he is working for him, so Sonic heads off into the Great Forest in hopes of re-discovering Knothole's location, so Snively can go there and capture the rest of the Freedom Fighters. After several recent raids in Robotropolis, the Freedom Fighters have managed to complete their deroboticizer, in which they plan to test it out on Bunnie. To their amazement, Bunnie regains her natural form and the effects of roboticization wear off. Sonic decides to go get Uncle Chuck in order to restore him to his natural form, though things take a turn for the worse when Sonic's plans backfire.moreless

When Sonic and the rest of the Freedom Fighters are too busy to play with Tails, he begins to feel neglected. He heads into the forest to practice his dirt hockey skills on his own, though he discovers a baby terrapod, which he decides to play with. However, when he eventually takes it back to the rest of the Freedom Fighters, they discover that the terrapod and the rest of its group are outside of their migratory path, and that Robotnik is trying to capture them in order to roboticize them. While in the middle of digging for some oil deposits, Dr. Robotnik unwittingly digs through some lush underground that contains some super-growth water. Meanwhile, Sonic accidentally stumbles across the water himself, which causes the Freedom Fighters to investigate the issue as they wish to use the water to save some of the trees that have been dying in the Great Forest. However, when the Freedom Fighters begin to disappear one by one, Rotor must venture further into the dark depths underground alone if he wishes to save his friends and put an end to Dr. Robotnik's drilling.moreless - Ep 10Warp Sonic11/20/93
During a mission to take out on of Robotnik's facilities, Sonic, Sally and Antoine find themselves cornered by Swat Bots. When all hope seems lost, a goat named Griff comes to their rescue and he takes them to Lower Mobius, where he explains that their hidden town has a failing power source. Sonic has been having some nightmares where Sally gets roboticized right in front of him and he's powerless to save her. However, he doesn't have time to figure out the meaning of his dream since the Freedom Fighters intercept a secret message of Dr. Robotnik's that reveals his plan to feed chemicals into the clouds in hopes of spreading acid rain. Rotor gives Sally, Bunnie and Antoine some old Swatbot suits and they head off in hopes of sneaking into the chemical transport to shut it down, while Sonic heads off to warn the village that Robotnik plans to destroy.moreless - Ep 8Harmonic Sonic10/30/93
The Freedom Fighters are worried because Robotnik has recently launched a spy satellite in hopes of using it to find Knothole Village; though their fears soon become a reality when Sally intercepts a troubling message. Fortunately, Rotor and Sonic discover one of the rocket boosters that fell off when the satellite was being launched into orbit, so Rotor makes some modifications to the booster in order to permit Sonic to get up to the satellite in hopes of disabling it before Knothole's location is revealed. While they manage to do just that, they completely forget about the backup generator, so their victory is bittersweet. In hopes of gaining an advantage in their fight against Robotnik, the Freedom Fighters decide to head off to the mountain city of Maga on their new flying machine. While there, they hope to find the Secret Scrolls, ancient artifacts that could prove to be highly effective if used towards their advantage, though they soon discover that there are several puzzles and tests that they must overcome if they wish to prove themselves worthy. Split-up into teams, Sonic, Sally, Antoine, Bunnie and Rotor are forced to flee Robotropolis in mid-plot. Their rendezvous is a train station, where Sonic's roboticized Uncle Chuck boards a departing train. The Freedom Fighters follow the train to the crystal mine to try to rescue him. Unsurprisingly, he is not the hedgehog he used to be, but Sonic temporarily fixes that with a power ring. Returning to Knothole with the freed Uncle Chuck will have to wait, however. The robots are excavating a powerful crystal, which will further Dr. Robotnik's goals and wreak havoc across Mobius. Can the Freedom Fighters stop this plot? When Sally discovers a secret message during a raid on a Robotropolis plant, she discovers that the message is coming from the Dark Swamp and that it may just have been sent by her father. However, on their escape from the plant, a member of the Freedom Fighters, Cat, gets captured; Sally decides to take Antoine to the Dark Swamp while Sonic heads back to rescue Cat, though he soon discovers some unfortunate news which causes him to make a change in his plans.moreless
