Why did they feel they had to add crappy characters like Shadow, Rouge, and ESPECIALLY the different Robotnik dude Eggman? I can understand Amy, since she was in Sonic CD, but did they really have to make her so annoying? If they felt that they needed to add any characters to the games in the first place, they should have stuck with SatAM.

Second that.  Come to think of it, I like this universe better than SegaSonic.

Knuckle's voice sounds horrible in that series. But in the movie, how old were Sonic, Knuckles and Tails?

I think the movie's Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles are the same age as they normally are.  Tails seems a bit younger though.

Well, on SatAM, Tails would be ten, Sally would be 16, and the others would be roughly around the years of 12-16.

But, what about in the movie? Are there ages the same as in SatAm or different? If different, what are their age numbers, exactly?

Seeing as cartoon (or videogame) characters rarely age, I'd consider the various Sonic teams to be their respective ages consistantly (at least on TV, considering the comics ages characters when needed).

There was already a Sonic Movie. The OVA one.
That wasn't really a movie. It was a series of two sonic anime cartoons pasted together.

I think it would be really cool to see a full length movie based on the SatAm series. I think someone is trying to make one but there isn't much about it.

It'd be a little too late to do the right thing now..... if you catch my drift.

*shrugs* I prefer the Americanized canon (i.e. SatAM and the comics) to most of the Japanese stuff, but that's my choice, I guess. That said, the OVA was good for what it was.
