During a mission to take out on of Robotnik’s facilities, Sonic, Sally and Antoine find themselves cornered by Swat Bots. When all hope seems lost, a goat named Griff comes to their rescue and he takes them to Lower Mobius, where he explains that their hidden town has a failing power source. However, when Griff finds out that the Freedom Fighters’ power stone should be capable of replacing his town’s power source, he begins to contemplate stealing their power stone in hopes of keeping his town alive.moreless

- Griff's first appearance on the series.

- When Griff goes to steal the Power Rock, it shows him right behind it in the water. It looks relatively big at this point, about as big as his head. Then, later on, it shows him walking with it and it has shrunk immensely, but he still needs both hands to carry it. Then, when he gets to Lower Mobius to put the Power Rock into the energy chamber, it's become so small he can hold it with one hand. At the end of the episode when he gives it back to Sonic, it's grown in size and is big enough for Sonic to split in two.
