EDIT
With the Blue Typhoon seriously damaged, and Sonic in serious danger, their hopes of defeating Dark Oak are slim that is until Tails comes up with an idea to save Sonic...even if it would mean sacrificing the Master Emerald to do it.

"Concerns for Sonic" is essentially conceived in order to let the series breathing back and finishing the series properly. But it doesn't mean that it doesn't have its own charms. The main theme of the episode is the race-against-time to save Sonic, but some sub-plots are included.

First, there is the question period where all of the characters search for a way to destroy the now-transformed Metarex and save Sonic. Against all expectations, it's Knuckles who finds the solution: to use the Master Emerald in order to create a great powerful shock from the Power Cannon. It's simple, but it's well-thought.

Second, Chris' time aboard the Egg Carrier among Eggman and his mates is full of memorable moments. When Eggman learns him that he might not be able to return to his world if they use the Master Emerald's power, Chris faces a cruel dilemma: to help his friends, or to come back to his family. He decides that he cannot let his friends alone and he wants to take his chance. This leads to a lot of emotion from Chris, Bocoe, Decoe & Bokkun's parts.

Sonic, in fact, appears only after the 2/3 of the episode is over and the images aren't real. He only appears, submerged into the water, when Amy comes to rescue them. Eventually, it's Amy who has to be rescued when her ship is destroyed, but the great hero is here. And this leads to the most romantic Sonic-Amy image of Season 2 (but not of all time).

When the plan is executed, we'd think that everything is over, but it's far from it and Dark Oak (who is the only survivor from the protagonists' attack) won't let Sonic & the gang win the game.

Everywhere during the episode, there's a lot of emotional moments. Tears flow from Amy, Cream, Cosmo and Chris' eyes, and almost from Knuckles when the Master Emerald is destroyed. Everyone who knows about Knuckles should know that his lifetime goal is to protect the Master Emerald. In fact, this is a very hurting and special scene. There are also happier scenes of compassion, friendship and alliance and, as said by Espio, it's "heart-warming".

Now, the next step is perhaps the ultimate one. Everybody who has a small expertise knows what's about to come. I won't say anything, I never watched that episode. But those who watched the trailer could guess of what will happen (especially when you look at Tails and the others' faces at the end of the clip).moreless

The whole season two storyline on tv.com is mixed up! most of the names for the episodes aren't correct. If you ask me somebody needs to organize them!! Now, I liked the episode but it was called "Angel Of Mischief"! somebody really needs to learn how to get the names right!
