  • The only episode I have not seen when this show was on TV.

If anyone is confused by what I meant, I mean to say that I never saw this episode when Sonic X was still on TV. However, I did manage to see it when I bought the DVD that had this episode (Vol. 3 - Satellite Swindle) as well as the episodes "The Last Resort", "Unfair Ball", and "Fly Spy". Anyway, on this episode I'm talking about, Dr. Eggman takes over a TV satellite and controls everyone's TV sets. Sonic and Tails take off in the Tornado 2 to go after Eggman and his robots, but they don't get too far and the only way to stop him is to build a special jet that moves much faster that the Tornado 2 (the X-Tornado). In their new machine, the heroes go after Eggman and stop him again. An averagely nice episode with the X-Tornado used for the first time.moreless
  • Really cool!

This episode ROCKED out loud, both versions of it! It is really cool how near the end Sonic was in space and he was getting frozen and all that, but then he destroyed Eggman's machine which was absorbing satellites from space and making Eggman's own channel. Definately one of the best episodes ever, and it had funny moments. A fleet in the sky quickly turned into space wars in the dreaded space, where satellites were being sucked up from Eggman's machine. I need to type 100 words on this review. All I need is 4 more. And now I'm done.moreless
  • Two words, FREAKIN SWEET!

This episode rocked, especially when Sonic went to space. Eggman launches his Super Sweeper robot to suck up satellites and turn them into robot parts. Sonic and Tails try to stop the Sweeper, but Tails' Tornado plane is damaged. To defeat the robot, Tails teams up with Chuck to build the X Tornado, a plane powered by a Chaos Emerald.

  • NOTES (11)

    • The spaceship/robot E-90 is based on Thunderbird 2, the green air-carrier from the UK puppet series "Thunderbirds". E-90 even mimics the ships' ability to detach storage compartments containing smaller tactical ships.

    • There's a lot of references to the UK puppet show "Thunderbirds" in this episode.

    • Eggman's "E-90" mecha is modelled on "Thunderbird 2" from the 1960's show "Thunderbirds", complete with the giant "pod" that can be ejected from it's body.

    • Chuck: That robot is dynamite!
this quote came from Monty Python and the Holy Grail when Graham Chapman's character King Arthur came upon a white rabbit that was very tough to kill and after they tried to slaughter it and failed they ran away and thats when he said, "That rabbit is dynamite!"
