Sonic and the others must go back home in order to keep the flow of time and space. This grieves many of those on Chris' World but sometimes, with good friendships, there are times when you just have to let go.

It's time to say goodbye. For Chris and the others, this is easier said than done. Amy, Cream and Vanilla all leave saddened and grateful for everyone's friendship and efforts in helping them adjust to their ways. Topaz becomes distraught when Rouge bid adieu to her, knowing she'll probably never find a better partner ever again. Knuckles also leaves but one flaw in this episode is that it's too bad Hawk (from, "The Adventures of Knuckles and Hawk") couldn't be there to see him off. Chuck and Tails share a touching moment when they both say goodbye to each other. Sonic is the only one still in Sonic's World (another flaw: they should've let the Chaotix and Big go through the portal, don't you think?!). He is about to leave Chris' life forever but Chris closes the portal and prevents him from leaving! To be continued...

Other than the part that Hawk wasn't there to see Knuckles off and Vecotr, Espio, Charmy and Big didn't go through the portal (although Big doesn't appear in the series again; did he stay on Earth?), this episode is almost flawless. No one can rightly say they hated this episode or it didn't affect them in one way or another.moreless
