  • A very heart-warming episode with Channy moments.

I was almost in tears as I watched the episode. For starters, it really was sad to see Gassie see the light. Sonny was right about him being more than a way to sell farting lunchboxes (and a movie promo that doesn't exist). I also liked the scene where Chad was trying to cheer up Sonny by making a balloon animal, as well as doing the funeral arrangements. I'm not sure what happened to Gassie, though. I'm thinking he can "play dead" for an awfully long time. In conclusion, with the Twilight joke, this SwaC episode is definately a must-watch.moreless

    • Nico and Grady bring out several boxes filled with Gassie lunchboxes. When they toss them down, the boxes move and knock around in such a way as to show that they were obviously empty.

    • Gassie is a clear parody of the fictional collie dog "Lassie". The character was created by Eric Knight in a short story and novel called Lassie Come-Home, which led to many film adaptations created by MGM. The name "Lassie" became a stage name for several dog actors, such as in the 1943 film Lassie Come Home where the character "Lassie" was played by a talented dog named Pal.

    • Chad: (while directing Gassie) Okay, for the last time... You've just stolen a crystal skull, there's a giant boulder rolling after you, and the natives are closing in on you, you're scared, you're confused, what happens if they catch you...Action!

Chad is referring to plot scenes from the Indiana Jones movies.
