  • What Rockmond Dunbar's character, Kenny did in the first scene of the episode in which he was seen in the shower was truly something, and Aaron Meeks' character, Ahmad only adding more to it when his character just opened the door without knocking first.moreless

Kenny (Rockmond Dunbar) wasn't payin' any attention while in the shower. He was honest to God dead sure. Kenny was in there showing that when it comes to getting to know yourself, and truly feeling "yourself" that it is not a game. And what was wrong with Ahmad (Aaron Meeks)? What the world was he thinking? Yes, we all know from watching the show that Maxine (Vanessa A. Williams) did tell him to tell his father to get out of the shower, but he should have knocked on the door first before opening it. But since he opened it without knocking first when he opened it, and saw his father "getting off" in the shower he should have did the respectable thing, and closed the door instead of just standing there watching as long as he did or it could have been written in the script for him to go into the bathroom, and knock on the shower door or go into the bathroom; open the shower door, and touch his father's left arm. But all I'm saying is that it could have been written better, and it is revealing because it showed that Rockmond is not afraid nor against playing a real convincing role.moreless
