boy oh boy poor kurtis blow..man did he get lashed..don put him on blast as to say he didnt understand rap did a award and embarrasing interview to mr kurtis blow..probably more harsh than the interview he did with o bryan(notably not only was that his last time performing on soul train but alot of people have said he got blackballed from the industry) welp you have to look at the time period and also you have to understand don and HIS AGE if i was his age i probably would have dissed rap too..hell i diss it now but after this show from that point forward HE HAD TO BRING RAP ACTS ON..i mean he had to do it..keep in mind he had to battle the disco era with all the shows competing against him and the types of acts to book,,he outlasted him all and this would be another challenge for him to face in order to keep up and be revelent on the music scene and belive me you know mtv was no joke,,but don was the king because it bcaterd to blacksmoreless
