the soul trains a comming theme is re mixed/ sped up a bit and would last of this version till the end of 1987

also at the begining of the show the whole soul train crows is doing some sort of the hustle/ electric slide this will happen of/on throught the next comming seasons through 1988

as we see yevette moss(used to always wear all white) is dancing with la ross(black dude use to have the afro and always wore black sunglasses used to dance like a professional/balrena) alittle b it more and not with sugar cain(the other skinny girl she used to dance with on the towers)

but whats alarming and somewhat cheating the audience is now don anounces what 1st two songs will be played after the commercial break as well as the video for the day and i think he should not have done that i always was excited/surprised to see what songs they would ply its just the excitement of it all..this will last until he leaves in 1993(well, off and on)

you will also see more chronograph moves which makes soul train look more corny and not realistic

1st Song, : "Eaten Alive" Diana Ross

2nd song,: "The Dance Electric" Andre Cymone

Performance: Five Star "All Fall Down" and an interview with Don Cornelius. they were on a roll they used to be on soul train back to back to back and still havent did a american /us tour till later...amazing...

Scrambleboard:the soul train ndancers that did it are...shana woods and terrence anderson (song) "Part-Time Lover" Stevie Wonder

Music Video: Dire Straits "Money for Nothing"

Midpoint Song: "Pop Life" Prince as usual it seems like they put the prince songs at the soul; train scamble board for some reason....

Performance: Sheila E. "Sister Fate" and an interview with Don Cornelius. (He WANTS AN INTERVIEW with the PURPLE ONE) this was a flwless performance always loved the video to this song to especiualy when she disrobes until into a bathing suit by the pool

3rd Song, Dancers, on record: "Freeway of Love" Aretha Franklin

Performance: Five Star "Let me Be the One"

Soul Train Line: Eddie Murphy and Rick James "Party All the Time" you will see no lights beaming through the soul train line stage

    Performance: Sheila E. "Love Bizarre"
