Soulmate

Show Summary

Soulmate is a romantic comedy TV series developed by MBC network that centers on six young men and women as they navigate the world of love in the hopes of finding that one person to lay claim to their hearts. Each episode highlights a different aspect of dating and relationships in general. While the six are thrown about in the confusing love game, destiny seems to want Shin Dong –Wook (Shin Dong Wook) and Lee Soo-Kyung (Lee Soo Kyung) to be together as soul mates. Dong-Wook, a freelance music coordinator, is what any one in the dating game would consider a player, using his looks and charms to get as many dates as possible. When he’s pressured by his parents to settle down, he begins to date the naïve and well-bred Hong Yu-Jin (Sa Kang). Soo-Kyung, a proofreader at a newspaper, is pretty and loveable, content with her long-term boyfriend, timid and overly attentive Phillip (Choi Phillip). When he proposes on a train, she’s torn between maintaining the status quo and the overwhelming desire to not say ‘yes’. Dong-Wook and Soo-Kyung is surrounded by a spectrum of daters, including aggressively seductive Jang Min-Ae (Jang Min In Ae) who wants to conquer Phillip, her indifferent model boyfriend Ryohei (Otani Ryohei), helplessly persistent Jung-Hwan (Jung Hwan), and eccentric spinster Kim Mi-Jin (Kim Mi Jin).moreless
