Jimmy keeps having erections at school and is worried about performing in the school's talent show because of it. He goes on a journey to try and 'get laid', but will he be able to before the talent show?

The first half was pretty good but when Jimmy tried to get the ho back it got kind of boring. The first half had a lot of laughs from me- Butters was funny, Cartman was, Officer Barbrady (particularly his "wait…" line)… the last half didn't really make me laugh, apart from the ending. But overall I did enjoy most of the episode, so my final grade is in the "B" range. Not awesome but not terrible
  • Jimmy has random erections as he begins puberty so he asks Mr. Macky for anonymous advice in class. Mr. Macky doesn't help much. After class children in the hall notice a poster about an upcoming talent show...

what is this ? a whole episode of jimmy and his ere*tions ! i mean no character development, just jimmy, whom they use to many these days.and what happened to barbrady s voice ? a bad bad episode for the last episode of the first half of season nine. but there was some funny and crude jokes.like the stupidity of jimmy asking to put his thing up his date s thing.that was an instant classic.overall, bad try, they could have improved this episode heaps.i hope when you see this episode, you can see their big mistake with their character development and a dumb plot.this episode has its moments ,but more downers.good side 45%.bad side 49%,6% just plain stupid.a little, itsy, bisty, minutey, smally, recommended.
  • It wasn't funny, and it wasn't entertaining.

What can I say about this episode? It wasn't any good, it wasn't funny. The whole story was awful and is in my opnion one of the worst episodes of South Park ever. I'm serious when I say this two, I've seen a lot of South Park episodes and this one has got to be close to being the worse and I think that it possibly is. I will say that there was one funny part, and that was when Butters was up on stage to do his act for the talent show. Overall, I would not recommend that anyone see this episode, it was that bad.
  • I don\'t like Jimmy.

    1.4
I don\'t like certain characters on the show because they are boring to watch. And this whole show followed Jimmy and I don\'t really like him. I don\'t even get it - are they making fun of cripples with disabilities or are they making them accepted? Either way this whole episode was not fun to watch and it is not why I watch South Park.
  • In this episode, Jimmy begins to have random erections during class, and he's afraid of getting an erection during the talent show, so he gets some advice from Butters and tries to get some action with girls at his school and then from a prostitute.

I thought that this episode was great and by far one of the best episodes of South Park. I was laughing my butt off the whole time. The part with Cartman being a white Hitch was really awesome and I loved it when Jimmy tried to get some from the litte girls and I loved it even more when he tried to get some from the hooker. There were so many really funny things in this episode and it is one of my all time favorites.

  • This is gonna be only one of my few favorite season 9 episodes, I guess.

    9.6
Jimmy is having problems with himself before the talent show and he runs away from town to try to fix it. Note that I'm not totally accurate here and I'd get in trouble if I tried, due to the grotesque nature of this episode. Anyway, unlike most other season 9 episodes, which appear to be carbon copies of season 6 (A.K.A: South Park's worst season), this episode actually has a good plot and is well written. Trey Parker and Matt Stone have proven to be intelligent men in writing this original plot. Therefore, I think this is pretty much the only season 9 worth watching, above "Die Hippie Die".
  • Jimmy's a man now.

    7.8
So Jimmy has trouble getting erections and he needs help because he's going to be in a talent show and he doesnt want to have an erection on stage. Usually, South Park satirizes something important int the news but I have no clue as to what this episode is trying to make fun of except maybe making fun of "the talk." Out of all the characters I was surprised Jimmy was chosen to have problems. I understand he is disbled so I bet that was probably the reason why he was chosen for this episode. I wish this episode were funnier and not so on the over the top side.
  • 30 minutes of my life I\'ll never have back.

This is the worst episode ever, folks. For starters, Jimmy is a crappy character, stuttering is his only joke, and his standup sucks. I hate all the episodes in which he has a huge role (Cripple Fight, Krazy Kripples, and Up the Down Steroid) but this one was the worst. In this episode, Jimmy is having problems with erections and so he ends up having sex with a fat, repulsive hooker. Nothing entertaining about that. When the hooker has one leg in one taxi and the other leg in another taxi, I just knew that she was going to get something stuck up her vagina--and sure enough, a man's head got stuck up her vagina.

Some redeeming qualities include the bathroom scene in which Butters asks Cartman for a courtesy flush, the scene where Butters dances in the talent show and ends up wetting himself, and the scene where Ike sings Yankee Doodle, which is ironic because he's Canadian. Other than those few little scenes, this episode was terrible and easily the worst in the series. There is nary a form of media that I can say compares to the torture that is this episode.
  • Beyond ridiculous

    4.7
I love this show I really do!

But this episode along with Mr Garrison's new Vagina were simply ridiculous. The jokes about Jimmy and his erections were supposed to be the central jokes of the show, but they were really dry and predictable jokes.

This is the type of humour you would think that only South Park would get away with and it does, some people actually like this episode. Its not my type of humour though. I would be someone watching who's saying "Thats just wrong - completely wrong".

Speaking of wrong, what about the ending with Jimmy and the prostitute. Was that supposed to be anm emotional moment or something? I certainly wasn't laughing. I was too busy trying not to throw up as to what might have happened between them!

On a more positive note, Cartman was the star of this episode. He had little involvement but when he was relaying what to say to Jimmy and his Scarface impressions were the highlights of the episode.

This really is a shame because "The Losing Edge" was a brilliantly clever episode. It showed that Matt and Trey are still capable of coming up with great ideas.

Compared to that these two episodes are complete garbage!
  • Am I the only one who liked this episode so much?

    9.5
To me, this was a funny episode. Jimmy getting his "Thing" hard at random times was good! But I think Matt Stone and Trey Parker try too much. I thought it was good! Anyways the fight to get back his hooker girlfriend made me laugh. Good thing I got it all on tape!
  • A very poor and dry in the joke department episode.

    5.6
And i though season nine couldn’t get any worse! Season nine is already South Parks second worst season (7th Being the worse) Then they had to go and make it worse. This episode is all about Jimmy and how he keeps getting Erections during random times. For the most part this episode is extremely unfunny with only about 2 funny moments. The only funny moments occur during the talent show. The Goth kid’s Talent show’s are for fags and Cartman’s select reading from the movie Scar Face. Those are about the only good moments in the show. So in the end the main reason that this episode sucks is that it is extremely dry in the joke department and that is out of character for South Park.
  • Probably the worst episode of the series.

    3.0
I hope the next batch of episodes is a lot better than this batch. What was with Barbrady's voice in this episode? It sounds nothing like him. This was just a bad way to end the season. I don't even know what else to say about this episode. Blah. Ick.
  • Definately a weird episode.

    7.5
This episode was not one of my favorites, but it was alright. It wasn't as digusting as Proper Condum Use, but the ending was odd. As far as Jimmy episodes go, they are usually good but this one is the worst. It had no Timmy! Also, the ending wasn't so good, and the voice mess ups continue with Officer Barbrady. There were good parts as well, like Cartman giving advice on Jimmy's date, just so he can ruin it and the whole car chase (poor driver of the motercycle) were the finer points of this episode. I hope the next Jimmy episode is better though.
