What I liked- The Krazy Kenny show, Kenny being arrested, Chef singing about what prostitution is to the kids, Kyle and Stan forcing the kid to pretend to be Kenny, Cartman being kicked out of fat camp, Garrison saying he was only at the intervention because he wanted to see Cartman's face when they told him, amongst other things.

Good episode. Kenny's plot started off good but got kind of boring ,but the main plot was pretty good with many humorous moments, so because of all of this my final grade is going to be a B+ or so, I think is fairmoreless

  • Sick and disgusting but fantastic

In this one; Cartman is rightfully sent to a Fat Camp but while there he sells the other kids candy while a look - alike poses as a thinner and much nicer version of him back home. Meanwhile Kenny becomes a minor shock-celebrity after agreeing to perform a series of increasingly disgusting acts for money.

Neither of these plots are substantial enough to be called plots rather there almost sketch show - like and shows some random bits from each perspective but for the most part it is pretty entertaining but runs out of steam in the last little bit. Both Cartman and Kenny are the main source of laughs; Stan and Kyle have progressed from the 2D straight guys of the group but aren't given a lot of funny material in this episode. Watching Kenny do increasingly sick acts gets less funny as the acts get more disgusting but the final twist at the end proves to be worth it all. The funniest bit in the Fat Camp is partly the bubbly counsellors but also how Cartman reacts to it; the jabs at overweight kids come off too harsh. Special mention goes to the Manatee skit at the beginning. The recurring gag of listening to Chef sing is given it's finale in this episode with his soulful and hilarious song about prostitutes. Ms. Crabtree gives her last speaking appearance of the series and i won't mention her central role in this review only that it's a good albeit dark send - off to that minor character. This is an episode where the show's improved animation is a blessing and a curse as Kenny's revolting actions would have been more tolerable with the stop - motion animation that was used in the pilot. Trey Parker as Cartman and Matt Stone as Kenny take the best performances prize even though Stone's voice is muffled by his sleeve to voice Kenny. Aside from that nothing else stands out much although the woman who stepped in to play Ms. Crabtree channels the late Mary Kay Bergman nicely.

Fat Camp is an irregular but often very funny and attention-grabbing episode of South Park; a great addition to the 4th Season.moreless

  • Chef's prostitute song was great!

Eric Cartman going to a fat camp to try and lose weight?! Great! Kenny's part of the episode was great. Him eating so many different things. Chef's prostitute song was great! That was hilarious. Isaac Hayes was a singer in really life. That was a great song. Jesus told Kenny that Kenny is a prostitute. Eric Cartman walked away when he sang the song. Everyone came when he was singing. Clyde, Butters, Tweek, Bebe, and Token. James Taylor even was there! Principal Victoria was there too! Cartman didn't lose one pound of weight. He looks even fatter. Overall, almost perfect. A 9.7.moreless
