Episode Recap

While the boys are at Wall Mart shopping for baseball equipment, Cartman still won't admit he's fat. Kyle points to all the fat people on Rascals at the store and tells Cartman if he doesn't watch it, he's going to look like that in a year. Cartman comes to the realization it's true and he admits it Kyle. He's decided to do something about it, he's gotten a Rascal, paid for by his insurance company. When he attempts to enter the Broflovski's bathroom to take a shit he cannot get in. He tells Kyle and his father that if they want to avoid a lawsuit, they better get up to code. Cartman goes off on his Rascal in narrating his new life of being fat and how different he is treated, at restaurants, Disneyland and the like. In court he tells his story about how he couldn't take a shit in a Best Buy. Lawsuits are being filed everywhere by fat people looking to take a shit. Outraged citizens, not wanting to have to pay for these bathroom upgrades begin fighting back by Rascal tipping. To alleviate that problem, the government allocates $25 million to fit Rascals with Tip Assist devices. When Kyle gives him some grief, Cartman exclaims he is going to be proud of who he is and is not going to feel shame anymore. He may be fat but he's not Honey Boo Boo. Kyle asks who that is and we quickly find out as the scene cuts to Honey Boo Boo and her mother and we and Kyle find out more about them than we ever wanted to know. Kyle take on things is that somewhere along the line society has lowered the bar on what's acceptable. No one feels shame anymore. Meanwhile, out at sea on the USS James Cameron the director has taken it upon himself to try to raise the bar. He's going to go deep into the sea, find that bar and raise it. Back at South Park Elementary the boys want to use their bathroom, but Cartman's having it upgrade to support his Rascal. Kyle wonders if there is anything they can do to get people to see the difference between being sensitive to the needs of fat people and letting fat people just walk all over them. To raise awareness Token suggests the create a documentary on Cartman by following him around with a camera and get him on television. Kyle runs off to get a video camera and Clyde suggests to Token that he should tell Kyle the truth. Token declines, saying that Kyle will get what he needs out it and so will I.

Kyle starts to present the documentary at the University of Colorado at Boulder, but to Kyle's surprise it's more than he expected. Token has put the footage together turning the Cartman footage into a pilot for new reality show "Here Comes Fatty Doo Doo!," with the theme song sung by Randy Newman. It's a hit with the Boulder crowd. Kyle confronts Token and is informed by him that the bar has been lowered and it cannot be raised by him or anyone else. Meantime, back in the ocean, James Cameron is still descending in search of the bar and determines he must go much deeper. Kyle struggles with his feelings on whether he should exploit Cartman in the way that Honey Boo Boo has been exploited. Stan informs him that Honey Boo Boo's heart gave out. Cut to "Mama" telling us what is up with her child's situation. Honey Boo Boo needs a heart transplant so she and her daughter are going to a pig farm to pick out her new heart. The heart gets transplanted and Honey Boo Boo is now sassier than ever. Cameron's plunge has taken him to the depth of 16,000 feet, where he encounters Randy Newman, who's plunged the ocean depths just to make sure no one can raise the bar and keep him from being hired again. He and Cameron get into a fight. In Token's office, Cartman is concerned about his civil rights being violated. He wants to make sure that the show doesn't get aired. Token informs him it already aired last night, but got killed in the ratings by Honey Boo Boo. That makes Cartman mad and he plans on getting on a plane and taking that bitch down.

At the First Lady's Symposium on Obesity Michelle Obama makes some opening remarks before the reason everyone has come together: Honey Boo Boo vs Fatty Doo Doo in sketti-wrestling. It's a messy fight and neither side seems to have an advantage. Out at sea on the USS James Cameron the crew finally hears from James who reports from the ocean depths that he's found the bar and he's working to raise it. Back in the States the effects are being felt, Michelle Obama herself realizes that what is going on is wrong and she vows to fight childhood obesity and starts by beating the shit out of Cartman. Back on the USS James Cameron, James Cameron doesn't take credit for what James Cameron does, because James Cameron is James Cameron.
