    The boys give their copy of Lord of the Rings to Butters to watch, but Randy accidentally misplaces a porno in the box. Now, Butters has seen a porno, and when the boys see the powers of the film (not knowing it is a porno and believing it to be Lord of the Rings), they attempt to go and return it to the video store. But will a group of middle schoolers beat them for the movie?

    Good episode. Really hilarious. The plot is really good and the episode has a lot of laugh out loud moments, especially the ending. So because of all of this my final grade for this episode is an easy and well deserved A+moreless

    In this episode, the boys are playing Lord of the Rings, and when they deliever what they believe to be the Lord of the Rings to Butters, it's actually a porno, and after the parents send them back to get it, and the 6th graders try to steal it from them, they decide to return the video to the two towers video store, from which it came. This episode is truly hilarious throughout with the boys dressed as appropriate LOTR characters, the fact that the story is parody of all the movie's storylines, it's crazy funny. I haven't even seen LOTR, and I couldn't stop laughing the first time I saw this. Overall, fantastic episode. 10/10 A+moreless

    The best south park episode i've ever seen!! An amazing episode with an excellent concept. It's South Park gone Lord of the Rings style. If you love Lord of the Rings then you'll definately love this episode! If you haven't seen LOTR then you won't understand a lot of the insider jokes and this episode won't be as funny but you can still get the drift of things and share in the laughter of the all important quest. I especially loved the dig they had at Harry Potter. This episode is truely South Park in its finest form!!! This episode is definately my prescious!! =)moreless

    I'm a fan of The Lord of the Rings but this episode was so funny and the plot was very good. The porn tape that the kids have pretty much represents the ring and their quest was to get it to Butters. Butters watches it and sees that it's a porn not The Lord of the Rings. Once the kids take the tape back, Butters tries to get the tape back and portrays the character, Gollum, who wants his "precious" back. At the end they get the movie to the video store and drop it down the slot where Butters jumps in after it and falls to his "death".moreless

    Eric, Kyle, and Stan all play The Lord of the Rings and pretend they are wizards. Then Stan's parents gives the video of the movie to the kids to take to Butter's house. However, that's not the only movie the Marsh parents rented. They have a pornographic tape. Unfortunately, the two tapes get mixed up and they have the Lord of the Rings and the boys... uh, oh!

    After giving the tape to Butter's house and Butter's viewing "The Lord of the Rings" porno tape, the boys get the info to get the tape back and Butters is dying to see more of the vid. During the boys' quest, they bump into sixth graders who find out that the tape is actually a porno. So they get chased by not only sixth graders but by their parents who are looking for them with a porno. So the boys gather all the other boys in town about this "powerful thing" so Token takes a look at it but is stunned. Then leaves and tells his parents who are with the other parents. So the boys figure that the video should be taken back to the video store called "Two Towers Video." The boys get to the store to turn in the tape but Butters still wants to see the rest and won't let go of his "precious." So they throw Butters and the tape in a drop box with the sixth graders and the parents arriving too late. Then after hearing a sex explanation from the parents, they all go home, except for Butters and his parents. Note to self: don't play "Lord of the Rings"moreless
