Mr. Mackey tells Liane Cartman that her son has crossed one too many boundaries and he recommends that she get some help; from the TV show Nanny 911. Nanny Stella comes to the house and starts to lay down the law and when she tries to use psychology on Cartman, he points out her flaws as a woman and she gives up the fight. Then TV's Super Nanny comes on the scene and three days later finds herself committed to a mental hospital. A doctor at the hospital recommends to Cartman's mother that she try the Dog Whisperer. Cesar Millan arrives on the scene and takes charge of the situation.
Cesar Millan continues to his domination over the situation telling Liane that she needs to become the pack leader of the house and exert her dominance over her son. Cartman tries to fight back by running away. He goes to his friends to find a place to stay and when they all reject him, he finds himself living out on the street. Cartman returns home (as Cesar Millan said he would) after living on the street for almost four hours. When he gets served a healthy meal Cartman threatens to call "Child Protective Services" on his mother. Liane finally becomes assertive and exerts dominance over her son, who begins behaving, much like a dog. Cartman wonders what is happening to him when he finds himself obeying his mother.
Liane is celebrating her success with Cesar, who congratulates on treating her son like a son and less like a friend. Meanwhile, Cartman talks to the other boys about the need to have his mom killed. He likens his recent weight loss to being a Jew during the Holocaust and his mother to Hitler. He tries to get them to kill her for him, but when they won't help, he concedes to the need to do it himself. Cartman sneaks into his mother's room with a knife. He wrestles with his conscience and realizes that the world doesn't revolve around him and he fights with his inner demons. The following morning Liane finds her son being someone she can be proud of. Cesar stops by and Liane is delighted to tell him about the change in her son. When she offers Cesar a ticket to join her for a night out, he can't accept as he has to return to Los Angeles. Finding out that she was only Cesar's client and wasn't becoming his friend, Liane turns to her son and starts falling back into the habits that will ensure that her son will become her friend again.
