While struggling with the stress of her professional and personal life, Det. Lydia Adams and her new partner, Det. Rene Cordero, investigate the possible kidnapping of an elderly man by a known drug addict. Det. Sammy Bryant and Det. Nate Moretta join a drug task force after investigating a freeway shooting. Officer Ben Sherman tries to deal with his partner's addiction to pain medication. Officer Chickie Brown finds herself in the middle of a riot after her new partner shoots at a teenaged boy.moreless
