One thing about this series that makes me watch is the use of Military History. Long before Wind Talkers and Flags Of Our Fathers has there been a lot spotlight on the use of Native Americans in World War II. Their strategic and military importance in helping the Allies win versus the Japanese was use vaguely here and there. Even though there was connotations that Chigs (Aliens) visited Earth especially the Native Americans was somewhat plausible the use of how Native Language used as Military Code is correct. I like how the writers used Military Intelligence in a good way for once in this series. In previous episodes it usually lack of intelligence in that brings the 58th in action(trouble).moreless

    • Nitpick
The General unzips the body bag of the frozen corpse just seconds after it had registered as being -273° C (-459.4° F) within the criogenic chamber. The zipper would have immediately frozen to the General's hands and caused damage to his fingers.

  • QUOTES (5)

    • Vansen: Sir, are you asking us to fail?!
General Radford: Failure will be our greatest success.

    • Vansen: Now don't look when I say this, but the woman walking into the bar? The... (they all look, and she gives an exasperated sigh) I saw her going out of the flight deck when we were locked out. Coop? Go pump her.
Hawkes: (thinking she means something else) Say what now?
Vansen: (chuckling) For information. Go on.

    • Commodore Ross: (grabbing his guitar a security man handled roughly) Whoa! Son, I don't know if you'll understand what I'm about to say. This is Rosilyn. You damage her, you damage me. And I will make you walk all 12.6 light years back to Fat Anthony's Guitar Parlor in Shreveport, Louisiana to repair a single nick!
General Radford: (entering unknown to either) We wouldn't want that, now, because then I'd have to make him walk all the way to Country Dick's Guitar Shop in Austin, Texas.

    • Colonel McQueen: What are you people doin' standing around? I want you out there bombing Chigs before they've had their morning coffee and doughnuts.
Hawkes: (pointing to the barriers locking them out) Don't tell that to us... Sir.

    • Wang: Maybe the war's over and they forgot to tell us.
