    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (2)

      • Zorak's glove's change color and so does his skin color to 2 different shades of green.

      • On the Aqua Teen Hunger Force Volume Two DVD, the deleted scene doesn't go with the episode. On it, Space Ghost had to have the Aqua Teens comertialized on his show to live, but on the show got a house boat and speaker for comertializing them.

    • QUOTES (8)

      • Space Ghost: Let me... let me rework this. (flys off, then returns) (Long pause) (He pushes Master Shake over, whose lid pops off, and chocolate shake spills onto the floor)

Master Shake: You have stopped the flavor!

Space Ghost: Yes, I did! Because I don't even have a boating license! I suppose I could get one. (looks toward Frylock) But still!

      • Master Shake: Collect all four! From the entire Space Ghost gang. Space Ghost, Zorak, Brak and ...
        (Moltar waits expectantly)
Master Shake: ... the NASCAR driver Rusty Wallace.

      • Space Ghost: Meat wad! Meat dead make dead meat!
Moltar: Wait! Don't shoot! It's me, Moltar! Heh heh. No you see, he was begging to die, so I mangled him, ate him, and put on his skin as a joke!
Space Ghost: And you're wondering why you didn't get the cup with your little face on it.

      • Space Ghost tries to intimidate Master Shake with increasingly more pathetic superhero puns:

"You need to chill out, and shut your lid, cup! Or else it'll be time to SHAKE it up!"
        ...
"And... the drinks are on me!"
        ...
"'Cause I'm... tired of milkin' this shake!"
        ...
"And there's no... free refills this time!"
        ...
"Excuse me, ma'am, but the machine seems to be out of ice, and... I just purchased this!"

      • Moltar: Burger trench? I got a bone in my shake there.
        Space Ghost: Mmm mmm.
        Moltar: No... a human bone.

      • Master Shake: Hello, God...are you there? Is this Heaven? Or am I in television?

      • Master Shake: Then they go to a Burger Trench and order one of my shakes, because they cannot fight the hunger inside; it imprisons them! You can tell that they are burglars because they wear masks over their eyes and they have striped suits! Then we show them being arrested. The ad is LONG, and it is in SURROUND SOUND!

      • Meatwad: The bun is in your mind.

    • NOTES (7)

      • On Aqua Teen Hunger Force Volume 2's deleted scene for this episode, we get a clue why there was a human bone in Moltar's shake. This is because the manager for Burger Trench kills the people who don't pay for their food and puts them in the food.

      • This was voted as the best episode of Space Ghost during the Best of Adult Swim marathon

      • Chris Ward (otherwise known as mc pee-pants/sir loin) makes a quick cameo as the dude in the cap dancing all by himself as the band plays at the end of this ep.

      • There's a history behind this episode. It was written in 2000 and was never finished. Instead, writers Matt Maiellaro and Dave Willis took their Aqua Teen Hunger Force creation, modified them, and turned it into a pilot. Which of course later became a cult hit series. Just recently the creators decided to finish this episode by recording and animating it, and what was originally going to be "Kentucky Nightmare" finally aired, and we get a look at what the Aqua Teens were originally going to be.

      • This episode was played as part of the Adult Swim New Years Eve Marathon, immediately after Meatwad was dropped in Times Square and the new year rang in.

      • This episode is an unfinished episode from the middle of the series which was finished for airing

      • The Aqua Teen Hunger Force in this episode, are done with their conception looks (what they looked like when first drawn) and their voices are very different. Meatwad is the only one who looks and sounds almost the same.

    • ALLUSIONS (1)

      • When Colonial Man and his band are shown playing, the song they are playing is a parody of the Led Zeppelin song "Black Dog".
