    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (2)

      • Goof: When Zylyn is awakened, he's wearing his repressor yoke in close-up shots, even though Boon makes a show of handing it to him later in the scene.

      • Commander Chennault wears a different uniform in this pilot than she does in later episodes of the series. She wears a Mao-style civilian pantsuit here, while in the other episodes, she wears a more militaristic jumpsuit.

    • QUOTES (9)

      • Jojo: I hope they don't come back. Wonder Boy shot off half our ammo. If there's one thing I can't stand, it's a man who can't hold his ammunition.

      • Doc: You see, Banshee physics is different. They move in their own time and their own space. They come at you like hornets. Kamikaze hornets. Ten of them will die just so one of them can get a shot at you.

      • Daniel: I heard those guys used to eat people.
Zylyn: I've never eaten a friend. At least not a close one.

      • Chennault: You take it easy out there, or I'll be standing in front of so many review boards, I'll forget how to sit down.

      • Boon: If you hop when I say hold, I'll park your butt on an asteroid till your hair is so long and grey you can knit with it.

      • Boon: (after Kincaid brags about his speed) Well, the last guy I knew who was that fast blew a hole in his own wingman. I need peacekeepers, not gunslingers.

      • Doc: Meet a lady from a planet where ladies ain't ladies.

      • Boon: (to recruits) Welcome to Fort Hope. This is the frontier, so keep your silver dollars in your pockets and your pants on until you get the lay of this place. Believe me, there are more ways than one to lose both out here.

      • Boon: (opening narration) The year is 2104. The explorers have stretched civilization to the farthest reaches of the galaxy, establishing remote outposts. A few elite men and women have volunteered to go to the frontier. Not to rule, but to uphold the law. These are the Space Rangers — part peacekeepers, part Marines.
