    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (1)

      • Nitpick: Kasima Fada is supposed to be a Muslim woman who commands men into becoming martyrs for Allah, yet she wears tight fitting clothing and no headscarf, as an Orthodox Muslim woman would. Many Muslim countries have less stringent dress codes for women, but these are supposed to be fanatics, so her immodest clothing would definitely be an issue for at least some of the men, unless it was only being worn to disguise her to any American opposition.

    • QUOTES (4)

      • Matt: All right, let's get this thing over with.
Chance: Why, you got some kind of hot date tonight?
Matt: Well, not yet, but if we get through this, I'm gonna find one!

      • Chance: (referring to Kasima) She went from being a hardcore, religious fundamentalist martyr in training to being a student of the Federalist Papers.
Benny Ray: You want to run that back one more time, amigo, so a simple, old, country boy knows what the Hell you're talking about?!
Chance: Lady started throwing our Bill Of Rights in there.
Benny Ray: You're yanking my chain, right?!
Chance: Hey, Thomas Jefferson as my witness, Benny Ray. She actually had the gall to demand to see her lawyer! She said by keeping her here against her will we are violating her Civil Rights!
Benny Ray: You know, now that you mention it, she just might have something there.
Chance: You know, I started to think the same thing.
Benny Ray: Well, what'd you tell her?
        Chance: Sue me.

      • Kasima weeps and pleads as Matt holds a drill up to her eyes)
Margo: What's your problem? You've got two of them. Oh, I know, it's a vanity thing, right?

      • Kasima: You killed my husband!
Matt: Hey, marriage isn't for everyone.

    • NOTES (2)

      • This episode marks the final appearances of stars Real Andrews and Mark A. Shepard.

      • Sarin gas is deadly because it creates an unbreakable molecular bond with the enzymes that cause muscles to contract and relax. Once bonded, the body is no longer able to relax its muscles, preventing a person from breathing, or the heart to beat, among other effects. Sarin is a liquid when contained, but rapidly vaporizes into gas when exposed to air. The vapor is heavier than air, so if it is dropped from the air it quickly diffuses to ground level.
