    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (2)

      • Dr. Meangreen bears a striking similarity to Reducto, a villain from the series Birdman, in terms of appearance.

      • Goof: The antenna of Speed Buggy's remote control alternates from left to right and even the top middle on several occasions in this episode.

    • QUOTES (3)

      • Debbie: I wonder if anyone lives here?
Tinker: Or...(gulps) any thing? (Krelb opens the door) Yikes!
Debbie: Oh, thank gosh! It's a human being...sort of.
Krelb: Would you care to enter?
Mark: Uh, do we have any choice?
        Krelb: The answer is no.
Tinker: Then our answer is (gulps) yes.

      • (Seeing Dr. Meangreen's mutant plants on a rampage when he uses his remote control technology on them)
Tinker: Golly! Looks like a new version of flower power!

      • (In a shed, the gang don plant-like disguises to sneak back to Dr. Meangreen's lab)
Debbie: (disguised as a giant sunflower) I just hope my ragweed allergies don't start acting up.
Tinker: (disguised as a giant cactus) Ouch! Golly! This thing itches more than my winter underwear.
Mark: (disguised as a giant cob of corn) Don't knock it, gang. I feel cornier than both of you. Okay, now it's time for the Greenery Berets to spring into action.

    • NOTES (1)

      • The plot of this episode is similar to the Josie and the Pussycats episode "A Greenthumb Is Not a Goldfinger". Both episodes feature an evil scientist who creates mutant plants in an effort to take over the world.
