AIRED:
To Catch a Spider: Under the guidance of Dr. Noah Boddy, the Green Goblin, Electro, and the Vulture join forces for revenge on Spiderman. In a confrontation with Noah Boddy's three stooges, Spidey practices ventriloquism to cause each of the three miscreants to think that he is being insulted by the others, and the excitable trio of villains begin fighting each other. Double Identity: Art robberies are committed by an old enemy of Spiderman, actor Charles Cameo, who can utilize masks and make-up to usurp any identity, including those of J. Having grown up watching Spiderman, I continue to watch these episodes now in my 40's. It is crazy, with all the life events that make all of us busy, I actually sit down late at night and watch these episodes dreaming like I did all of those years of what it would be like to be in New York in the wee hours of the night seeing Spiderman flying through the air. This episode is my favourite. The swanky music and the some of the most well-known villains together in one episode simply keep me coming back. The animation, unlike the next two seasons, is great. It would be interesting to know what could have been of these episodes if Grantray-Lawrence would had continued. Anyway, the memories are great and it is nice to head back to childhood once in a while... It makes life a little more enjoyable and certainly less hectic.moreless
