  • The Lizard plots to turn New York City into a tropical jungle with an army of animals at his command. Meanwhile, Peter Peter Parker's allergies are acting up.

Overall this is one of the better episodes in the solo Spider-Man series. It has a pretty solid storyline and tries to show Parker has a super hero with some regular, if a bit nerdy, problems.

In the comics, the Lizard is a gifted scientest named Dr. Conners who was seeking a formual to regrow lost limbs -- such as his own. Yet, as is the case with most super villians in this series, his origins are ignored/changed.

Here the Lizard seems to have the ability to control all animals, where as in the comics I think it was -- at most -- limited to other reptiles.moreless
