      • Swarm: Swarm, Swarm.

    • NOTES (2)

      • Storyboard artist, Larry Houston wrote the original draft for this episode. Since Larry had not written for animation before, the story editor didn't think the studio would be able to sell it to the network, so the story editor rewrote it. Larry did make it clear though, that the constant droning of "Swarm" througout the episode was never part of his initial draft.

      • In the comics, Spider-Man villian Swarm's origin is different. A world expert on toxics name Fritz Von Meyer found the meteorite near a massive bee hive while hiding in South America during WWII. He tried to control them with a device, but they ended up stinging through his protective garb. He grabbed the queen bee and instead of controlling the bees, he became an embodiment of the bees called Swarm. Also in the comics, he didn't have the power to turn people into bee people like he did in the cartoon or had wings, he did have teeth and wore a hooded cape.
